Pomace olive oil is a highly stable, refined edible oil derived from the olive pulp and paste (known as the pomace) and holds a large percentage of oil, which extracted, refined and blended with virgin olive oil to create a highly functional, clean-tasting commercial cooking oil.
Olive pomace oil retains the monounsaturated fatty acids profile characteristic of the olive oil family. The high concentration of monounsaturated fats makes olive oil highly heat-stable and provides superior resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation.
